NYIMC is a non-profit organization that relies on volunteers and the generosity of members. Registration fees cover only about half of our expenses each year. That’s why we need your support — please become a member today. Membership dollars go toward basic things like materials, electricity, maintenance and teacher travel. They also sustain the programs we rely on for guidance in our study and practice.
The Buddha encouraged generosity. When the Buddha would give a discourse to lay people, he would almost always begin with the importance and the benefits of generosity. It was not for the benefit of the recipients — it was for the enrichment of the giver.

HOW TO USE AN EVENT PASS: An Event Pass can be used to pre-register by mailing it to NYI with a note specifying the program you want. It can also be used to register at the door on the day of an event. It cannot be used to register online or by email. It is not redeemable for cash, and, therefore, can not be used for dana.
