This community meets on Sunday evenings to meditate, discuss Buddhist teachings, and provide mutual support in applying these practices to the specific challenges of early adulthood. The gathering is participatory and casual. Possible discussion topics include career, relationships, money, and dealing with difficulties.

There is no required level of experience or familiarity with meditation or Buddhism. Meditation instruction is given.

Fee by donation: Suggested starting donation is $10 but whatever you offer is greatly appreciated and no one is ever turned away for lack of funds. For this event, all donations go to support NYI.

Janusz WelinJanusz Welin is a Brooklyn NY based mindfulness meditation teacher specializing in creativity practices, emotional and group intelligence practices as well as the ways meditation can facilitate social justice work. Janusz has nearly a decade of dedicated mindfulness practice in the insight meditation tradition. Janusz specializes in one-on-one meditation mentorship (via skype) and developing custom meditation courses and strategies for individuals and organizations.Janusz is in training with Spirit Rock Buddhist Meditation Society as a Community Dharma Leader (2017) and Against the Stream Buddhist Meditation Society as a Meditation Mentor (2017.)
