Join meditation teacher Devin Berry for an online talk on the Buddha’s teachings on the brahamaviharas as an expression of the wisdom of the liberation narrative.

This sitting group provides instruction in insight meditation and fosters mutual support and understanding among the growing community of people of color who find nourishment and inspiration in the practice of meditation.

No previous meditation experience is required.

Devin Berry

Devin has been practicing Insight Meditation since 1999. He has undertaken many periods of silent long-term retreat practice. Devin co-created a groundbreaking mindfulness and intergenerational trauma program for African-American elders in Oakland, CA. He co-founded Deep Time Liberation, a retreat program that explores the impact of ancestral legacy and intergenerational trauma on Black Americans and draws on multiple healing practices within a wider context of mindfulness meditation. Devin recently relocated to Northampton, MA from the San Francisco Bay Area. He teaches at Insight Meditation Society and nationally.
