Ehipassiko — Come and See for Yourself
S.O.S. — Sitting on Sunday + Holiday Potluck
Fee by donation
December 15, 2013
10:00 am - 02:30 pm
These regularly scheduled mornings (10am–12pm) begin with a guided meditation, sometimes followed by standing or walking meditation. There is a Dharma talk and often a question and answer period where attendees can inquire about practice.
+ Potluck (12:30–2:30pm) directly following the S.O.S., the potluck is an opportunity for the sangha to break bread with one another, teachers, board members and volunteers.
Please bring a vegetarian offering to share and what you’d like to drink. All offerings are welcome.
There’s a microwave available for re-heating dishes. Plates, utensils, napkins, etc. will be provided.
Fee by donation: Suggested starting donation for the S.O.S. is $20 but whatever you offer is greatly appreciated and no one is ever turned away for lack of funds. For this event all donations are split evenly between the teacher(s) and NYI.
