The Fourth Foundation of Mindfulness Part 2
If the hindrance factors are to be recognized and abandoned, what then do we cultivate? There is an integral relationship between cultivating these Seven Factors of Awakening and abandoning the Hindrance factors. In our culture there can be a tendency to dwell on the negative – what we need to be rid of. Here we will be investigating and practicing the cultivation of mindfulness, investigation, energy, joy or rapture, tranquility, concentration, and equanimity. As always, each class will include practice, instruction and talks, as well as group dialogue and inquiry. There will be ongoing practice assignments each week.
*Registration fee includes teacher support.
