“Attention is the rarest and purest form of generosity,” writes Simone Weil. Join us as we spend a day giving our lives the gift of our own attention.
In a safe space, free from judgment and striving and holiday shopping, we will practice mindfulness meditation and writing exercises. We will explore how writing can be a way to engage with the world, a way of remembering and sharing our unique experience and perspective—our journey towards wisdom.
Everyone is welcome, beginners, previous participants, and professionals. No one need read aloud.
*Registration fee does not include teacher support.
Teacher support: Suggested starting donation is $15 per session but whatever you offer is greatly appreciated and no one is ever turned away for lack of funds. All donations go to support the teacher(s).
