Special guest Zenju Earthlyn Manuel will be here sharing the Dharma.  This teacher-led sitting will provide an opportunity for the Sangha to meet with for meditation, a Dharma talk and dialogue.

Fee by donation: Suggested starting donation is $15 but whatever you offer is greatly appreciated and no one is ever turned away for lack of funds. For this event  all donations are split evenly between the teacher(s) and NYI.

Rev. Zenju Earthlyn Manuel Rev. Zenju Earthlyn Manuel, Ph.D., is an author and ordained Zen Buddhist priest. She combines Zen meditation, intuitive knowing, and indigenous ritual in a path of liberation. She is the guiding teacher of Still Breathing Meditation Community in East Oakland, CA. She is the author of Tell Me Something about Buddhism with a foreword by Thich Nhat Hanh and The Black Angel Cards: 36 Oracles and Messages. Her most recent book is The Way of Tenderness: Awakening Through Race, Sexuality, and Gender with a foreword by Charles Johnson, author Middle Passages and many Dharma books.
