A four-week workshop for graduates of MBSR that focuses on how to handle the challenges and discoveries that arise as we practice. We aim to transform meditating from being a task into a joy, a relief, and a homecoming.

Our difficulties require our most compassionate attention and inquiry. We will explore in depth our pain and difficult challenges and learn to open and to relate to them with unconditional presence, in a way that is mindful, wise, compassionate and healing.

The retreat day will be one of noble silence for those who want to deepen their practice. It will include sitting, walking, and select inspirational readings for contemplation. One-on-one meetings with the teacher will also be available.

Join us for a film night at New York Insight where we will take an in depth look at how mindfulness in schools is changing the lives of young people and creating a breath of fresh air in their lives. We will screen this short film and include a lively conversation with the film's director and a professor in the Psychology Department of Hunter College.
