DESCRIPTION:Online: Touching the Earth\n \nwith Jeanne Corrigal\n \nSaturday\, May 7th\, 2022 | 1:00pm – 5:00pm ET\n \n\n \nOn the night of his awakening\, the Buddha touched the earth and asked for help\, as if from a teacher\, or spiritual friend. Indigenous teaching is based in the knowledge of our relationship and reciprocity with nature. Buddhist teacher Ajahn Chah taught that we can learn from Nature enough to be enlightened.  \nIn this daylong program\, we will touch the earth with our hearts\, minds\, and bodies. Please bring a nature friend with you in your heart – a place\, green\, legged\, or flying being whom you care for. \nRegistration:\nPlease register at the highest level that your generosity offers.\nExplanations of levels follow below.\nIf you are registering via a mobile device such as a phone or tablet\, you can scroll right and left and up and down within the below form if it is partially obscured or cut off. Please contact registration@nyimc.org if you need assistance. \n \nRegistration Fees include Teacher Support\nNew York Insight Meditation Center has streamlined the registration fee levels.
