SUMMARY:Online: Concentration in Daily Life
DESCRIPTION:Online: Concentration in Daily Life\n \nwith Tuere Sala\n \nThursday\, February 9th\, 2023 | 7:00pm – 9:00pm ET\n \n\n \nConcentration is often reserved for silent retreat practice. We think of it as something that requires a lot of work over a dedicated period of time. But right concentration is a factor on the Eightfold path\, which means it is an ordinary part of liberation. Concentration is as simple as lifting a piece of paper. You need the same focused attention and effort as with the aiming and sustaining we practice on retreat. \nThis discussion is about learning to cultivate concentration as part of the Eightfold path by incorporating it into our daily lives. \nRegistration:\nPlease register at the highest level that your generosity offers.\nExplanations of levels follow below.\nIf you are registering via a mobile device such as a phone or tablet\, you can scroll right and left and up and down within the below form if it is partially obscured or cut off.\nCLICK HERE to open the registration form in a new browser window.\nPlease contact registration@nyimc.org if you need assistance. \n \nRegistration Fees include Teacher Support\nNew York Insight Meditation Center has streamlined the registration fee levels.
