DESCRIPTION:Co-sponsored by: The Interdependence Project (IDP) and Sacred Earth Sangha of NYI\n \nIn-Person: Awake in Urban Nature Meditation\n \nwith Maho Kawachi and Sam Moll\n \nSaturday\, May 18th 2024 | 9:30am to 12:00pm\n \nLocation: Central Park\, Great Hill\n \n\n  \nPlease join us on Central Park’s Great Hill (northwest corner) for meditation and mindful eating practice. In this workshop\, we practice sitting meditation\, standing meditation\, and gentle movement together. During our mindful eating practice\, we will explore the eating experience through the five senses. Through the experiences of this workshop\, we will see that nature is part of us and we are part of nature.  \nThis gathering will be conducted in Noble Silence. There will be time for sharing at the end. Beginners and seasoned practitioners all welcome. \nMeet up time: 9:20am (exact location TBD one week before the event).
