DESCRIPTION:In-Person: Generation Meditation Sangha\n \n2nd Monday of the month | 7:00pm – 8:45pm\n \n\n \nThis community meets monthly to meditate\, discuss Buddhist teachings\, and provide mutual support in applying these practices to the specific challenges of the participants.\nThe gathering is participatory and casual.\nDiscussion may follow inquiries about the reading\, meditation practice\, and life off-the-cushion\, viewed through dharma teachings. \nWe aspire to build a community that is authentic\, relational\, pragmatic & joyful. All are warmly welcome. \nThere is no required level of experience or familiarity with meditation or Buddhism. Meditation instruction is given.\n \nThe age range to attend this sangha is 18-35. \n  \nSpace is limited\, please RSVP below.\nIf you are having trouble completing your RSVP or donation\, please CLICK HERE to open it in a new browser. All proceeds will support this sangha’s teacher(s) and other NYI teacher support. Please contact registration@nyimc.org if you need assistance. \nSuggested donation is $10 but whatever you offer is greatly appreciated. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. \n \nNYI’s Covid Protocol for In-Person Indoors Programs:\n•All participants must be fully vaccinated and have received a Booster shot – Proof of vaccination and booster is required during check-in.\n•All participants must RSVP in advance before attending the program.\n•Msak wearing is highly recommended at all times.\n•For the health and safety of our staff\, teachers\, and community\, please do not come onsite if you are feeling unwell.
