In-Person: Queens Sangha

Every other Monday (see dates below) | 7:00pm-9:00pm

Location: Astoria Center of Israel, 27 – 35 Crescent Street, Astoria, NY 11102

These sittings provide an opportunity for Sangha members in Queens to meet for meditation, a Dharma talk, and discussion. Meetings take place roughly every other Monday—see exact dates through November 2026 here:

    Please register using the dana option below so we know you joined our gathering. You can offer dana (donation) via cash at the gathering or when you register below.  Proceeds support this sangha’s ability to practice in-person as well as teacher support.

    Suggested starting donation is $20 but whatever you offer is greatly appreciated and no one is ever turned away for lack of funds.

    Lani Miller

    Lani MillerLani Miller has been practicing Insight Meditation since 1976. She is a graduate of the third Community Dharma Leaders Program. Lani is also a graduate of the MMTCP – “Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program” and “The Mindful Mentor Training Program.”
    As a teacher, Lani values the opportunity to be a “channel” for supporting individuals and groups to find and explore spiritual truth through their own present moment experience. As part of this, she feels honored to introduce beginning meditators to meditation.
    Lani is also a Singer/ Songwriter who is interested in how music and other creative arts can be a vehicle for sharing spiritual truths and values.
