Online: Getting Unstuck – How Meditation Changes Your Life
with nico hase
Sunday, January 18th, 2026 | 2:00pm – 5:00pm ET
Feeling stuck in old patterns? Wondering whether meditation actually changes anything about how you move through the world?
Join dharma teacher and psychologist nico hase for a clear, honest exploration of how meditation helps us shift deeply ingrained habits—not as a quick fix, but as a steady practice that changes how we meet difficulty, relate to others, and show up for our lives.
Drawing from thirty years of practice—including six years as a Zen monk and intensive Vipassana training with Joseph Goldstein—nico will explore what actually transforms as you practice. How the mind begins to catch reactivity before it explodes. How emotions become workable rather than overwhelming. How a little more space, presence, and kindness can reshape even the patterns that feel most entrenched.
This isn’t a talk about techniques or Buddhist philosophy. It’s about the real, lived changes that emerge from consistent meditation—the quiet shifts in perspective that gradually alter everything from conflict to career uncertainty to the small frustrations that trip us up each day.
Format: The afternoon includes guided meditation, nico’s reflections on how meditation creates meaningful life change, and generous time for questions and community dialogue.
