In-Person: Lunar New Year Sit and Potluck for the Asian Diaspora Sangha

with Lin Wang Gordon

Friday, February 20th, 2026 | 6:30pm – 8:30pm ET

Location: New York Insight at 115 West 29th Street, 12th Floor

Join the Asian Diaspora Sangha in person to celebrate the joy of Lunar New Year.

Lunar New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, is celebrated across Asia and traditionally spans 15 days. In 2026, we welcome the Year of the Horse, beginning on February 17. If you celebrate Lunar New Year, we warmly invite you to join us in honoring our ancestry and heritage and reflecting on what this holiday means to each of us. We will share in group reflection and a vegetarian potluck from 6:30–8:30 pm.

“You’re welcome to arrive anytime between 6:00–6:30pm to drop off the food and hang out. We have a full program and will begin promptly at 6:30pm.”

💛 This event is a dedicated space for those who self-identify as members of the Asian Diaspora. Families of the Asian Diaspora practitioners are welcome. We kindly ask those who do not identify as members of the Asian Diaspora community to support us from afar as we hold space for our community.

We look forward to celebrating together in joy and presence.
