CANCELLED: Awake in Urban Nature – Opening the Five Senses in Central Park
with Maho Kawachi
Saturday, April 4th, 2026 | 10:00am – 12:30pm
Note: This program has been cancelled.
Spring has come. Let’s go outside and touch the earth!
Please join us for sitting and walking meditation, as well as gentle movement together. Through the experiences of the five senses, we will see that nature is part of us and we are part of nature. This is a special opportunity to bring your practice into a natural setting and meet others who are interested in exploring outdoor meditation.
Together we will slow down, silence our phones, and tune in to what’s going on around us and in our bodies and minds. Join us to immerse yourself in NYC’s Central Park and discover the joy of being with others in urban nature.
This gathering will be conducted in Noble Silence. There will be time for sharing at the end. Beginners and seasoned practitioners all welcome. Light rain or shine.
