In-Person: Awake in Urban Nature – Fort Tryon Park Walking Meditation
with Maho Kawachi
Saturday, December 13th, 2025 | 10:30am – 1:00pm
Location: Fort Tryon Park, New York, NY
The winter season calls us to slow down so let’s follow nature’s lead. Take a break from holiday busy-ness and immerse yourself in the stillness and serenity of Fort Tryon Park.
We will walk through the south side of the garden and north side of the park, overlooking the Hudson River, and leading us to the highest point, Linden terrace. This gathering will be conducted in Noble Silence. There will be time for sharing at the end. Beginners and seasoned practitioners all welcome.
Meetup Point: Margaret Corbing Circle, which is the south side of the entrance (from Manhattan, take A train to 190 Street Station)
Fee: $25
Registrants will receive more detailed information about meetup time and place the day before the event. Please dress accordingly and bring something to sit on, such as a picnic sheet or plastic bag. Light rain or shine.
