In-Person and Online: Becoming More Like Buddha
with Anam Thubten
Thursday, November 13th, 2025 | 6:30pm – 8:30pm ET
In-Person Location: New York Insight at 115 West 29th Street, 12th Floor
Meditation has three essential aspects: mindful attention, open awareness, and lovingkindness. By cultivating these qualities, we can release negative mental habits and open our hearts and minds, leading to greater joy, peace, and inner freedom. As we deepen these meditation practices, we begin to embody the awakened qualities of the Buddha within ourselves.
Renowned Tibetan Buddhist teacher Anam Thubten joins New York Insight for a special one-time evening event. He will offer insights into relating skillfully to our thoughts and emotions and developing these three core aspects of meditation.
Through meditation, dharma talks, and Q&A, you’ll discover what it means to live more “like a Buddha,” and learn more about what it means to embrace each moment with openness and acceptance.
