You might have read or heard about the Buddha’s Four Noble Truths, but what are they, really? How do we integrate these teachings into daily life?

The Four Noble Truths—one of the Buddha’s first teachings—offer a structured yet flexible guide for cultivating wisdom and ethical living in a way that is both practical and transformative. These teachings can actually be reframed as the Four Ennobling Truths.

As we investigate their applicability to our lives, we quickly see how they can lead to a profound sense of freedom from our habitual worries, emotional reactions, and obsessions. As Buddhist monk Ajahn Sumedho taught, “Our practice is not to follow the heart; it is to train the heart.”

In this four-week program, we will explore how the Four Noble Truths can be a source of groundedness, clarity, and direction, even when we are experiencing internal or external chaos.

Join teacher Elaine Retholtz to learn what it means to practice these ancient teachings in the modern world.

This program is open to all—no prior study or experience required.
