In celebration of Valentine’s Day, we are taking a moment to consider one of the most common phrases we often hear when it comes to love… you need to love yourself first.
We tend to think of compassion as energy that flows out toward others, yet many of us have difficulty in loving ourselves. In this Daylong Retreat we will turn inwards so we can build a stronger understanding of our own hearts and minds before we turn our energy of love outwards. Through reflection and meditation we will examine one of the central teachings of the Buddha, the concept of compassion and will explore self-compassion using the rich concepts and tools of the Dharma.
The registration fee includes teacher support. If you wish to give more in addition to the registration fee, the total (registration fees and additional contributions) will be shared between NYI and the teacher(s).
