“Wisdom tells me I am nothing. Love tells me I am everything. And between the two my life flows.” -Sri Nisargadatta
True compassion arises from boundlessness and boundlessness is embodied as true compassion. In this day of practice, as we come to stillness through mindfulness, clear and radiant, the truth of Nisargadatta’s observation will come into focus. This day will present some of the Buddha’s teachings on compassion and emptiness and through stillness and relational practice we will tap into the potential which is present in all of us. This Daylong retreat is appropriate for meditators of all levels and everyone is welcome. Some prior study/reading of the Buddhist concept of emptiness is encouraged.
The registration fee includes teacher support. If you wish to give more in addition to the registration fee, the total (registration fees and additional contributions) will be shared between NYI and the teacher(s).
