Online: Navigating Grief and Loss – Buddhist Practices to Keep Your Heart Open

with Kimberly Brown

Sunday, February 22nd, 2026 | 10:00am – 1:00pm ET

If you’ve experienced the death of someone you love, a divorce, job loss or layoffs, or simply are feeling overwhelmed by the many changes in the world today, you don’t have to be devastated, enraged, or alone. In this special workshop, teacher and author Kimberly Brown (Navigating Grief and Loss: 25 Buddhist Practices to Keep Your Heart Open) will show you how to meet your grief with love and wisdom, using mindfulness exercises and traditional compassion practices.

With periods of discussion, guided meditation, and noble silence, this program will show you how to:

  • Gently engage with your sadness, pain, and mourning with patience and kindness, so you feel less overwhelmed by your feelings
  • Steady your mind with effective and simple meditation practices
  • Reconnect with your natural openness and peace, to find ease and rest even in the midst of your struggles
  • Share blessings with yourself and others through lovingkindness practice, to feel less alone and develop more resilience

This workshop is open to anyone experiencing change or grief. You can order a copy of Kim’s book at this link but it is not mandatory for the workshop.

Note: This program will be recorded. The recording will be sent to all registrants after the program, so please feel free to sign up even if you cannot join in real time.
