Wildecy de Fátima Jury has practiced meditation over 20 years. She graduated at Dedicated Practitioner Program (DPP) and Community Dharma Leader (CDL4) programs at Spirit Rock in California. She was ordained as a non-monastic Dharmacharya by Venerables Pannavati and Pannadipa. At the moment she is attending a Dharmapala Training with Teachers Thanissara and Kittisaro. She has been teaching in California, New York and Brasil. Fátima has studied different spiritual practices and has a BA in Psychology and Women’s Studies and has a MSW Degree. She is certified in the Indigenous Focusing Oriented Therapy. She’s a social-spiritual activist and has worked with various communities and multicultural groups.
Her intention is to promote strengthening of communities through the cultivation of compassion, and unity and decolonization of oppressed and oppressive minds. Fátima is an artist, a writer and a poet and describes herself as a person within floating identities.
