In-Person: Awake in Urban Nature Meditation

with Maho Kawachi

Saturday, April 20th, 2024 | 10:00am to 12:30pm

Location: Hudson River Greenway

Please join us in honoring Earth Day and the water around us with a guided meditative walk along the Hudson River. While practicing walking, standing, and sitting meditation together, we will engage our five senses, notice thoughts, feelings, and reactions, and give ourselves an opportunity to open to our body, heart, and environment. The class will be conducted in Noble Silence. There will be time for sharing at the end.

Meetup time: 9:50am, light rain or shine. Location: Pier 26 Children’s Playground, at North Moore Street Walk: (Piers 26 to 57—about 1.3 miles, wheel chair accessible).

NOTE: This will be a dana-based event. Your generosity will shared by the teacher, The Interdependence Project, and New York Insight.
