Loving Kindness Meditation

with Gary Singer

Saturday, November 9th, 2019 | 10:00am – 5:00pm

Join us for this daylong retreat where we will cultivate our natural capacity for an open and loving heart towards ourselves and all other beings.

Metta is the Pali term for friendship, goodwill or loving-kindness. In metta meditation, we direct loving-kindness toward ourselves and then, in a sequence of expansion, towards somebody we love already, somebody we are neutral towards, somebody we have difficulty with, and ultimately toward all beings everywhere without distinction.

This intentional practice of loving-kindness leads to greater acceptance of ourselves and others, revealing our fundamental connectedness to all life. This daylong retreat is appropriate to meditators of all levels and everyone is welcome.

Due to extenuating circumstances, this program has been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a future date.
