Online: Kuan Yin Harvest Moon Ceremony – Sacred Earth Sangha

with Florie St. Aime

Friday, September 29th, 2023 | 6:30pm – 8:30pm ET

Due to inclement weather, the event was moved online.

Join us online as we engage in a Kuan Yin Ceremony, a devotional practice adapted by One Earth Sangha teachers, Thanissara and Kittasaro. Kuan Yin, transforming in identity through time and culture, is the bodhisattva who listens with compassion to the cries of the world. From the OES website:

“This is a ceremonial practice done in a meditative context of the Kuan Yin Dharmas, invoking the transformative power, energy, and frequency of Kuan Yin Bodhisattva, the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Saints and Sages, and all supportive ancestral, elemental, and angelic forces needed in this time of profound planetary transformation.”

Consider setting-up your own full moon altar – what would this mean to you, what would you create it with?
Whatever you may have prepared to bring along to the communal alter, you now have further opportunity to creatively expand it.
Please have writing material handy.

The NYI Sacred Earth Sangha is a community formed around deep practice and conscious engagement of the challenges of the climate/ecological crisis and related social justice issues.
