Too many of us wrestle with intrusive and self-judging thoughts cycles. In spite of our efforts to cultivate self-love and self-acceptance, we find ourselves stuck in narratives about how we’re not good enough; that we’re imposters, failures, and unlovable. We might find we resist the very things we want so badly — like taking the steps to actualize a dream or a new career or a meditation practice. Or we finally fall for someone but are so freaked out by the vulnerability that we fight against it. It’s as if our mind has a mind of its own.

You can shift your experience of these voices permanently. What’s needed is clarity about why those voices are there to begin with, the logic that these voices are obeying, and a compassion-based approach to relating tothese voices directly.

Drawing from Tibetan Buddhism, neuroscience, the “parts work” of Internal Family Systems, Cognitive-Behavior Therapy, and evolutionary psychology, this daylong retreat will give you a three-step method for engaging with these inner voices that will, over time, heal your relationship to these inner energies completely. You’ll also learn evidence-based methods for settling the mind that go beyond the modern mindfulness approach and techniques to use when panic and anxiety attacks strike.
