In-Person and Online: Young Adult Town Hall Gathering
with Leslie Booker, Brian Simmons, and Kathy Rollo Ferrara
Sunday, June 14th, 2026 | 6:30pm – 8:30pm ET
In-Person Location: New York Insight at 115 West 29th Street, 12th Floor
For those ages 18–34, we warmly invite you to join us for an evening of conversation, connection, and shared reflection about contemplative practice, community, and the future of young adult Dharma at New York Insight Meditation Center. Whether you’ve been practicing for years, are newly exploring meditation, or simply curious about what an authentic spiritual community can look like in today’s world, we would love to hear from you.
This gathering is an opportunity for us to listen deeply to the experiences, needs, and hopes of young adults in our sangha and wider community. We’ll also share an emerging vision for new young adult programming and a possible grant-supported initiative focused on supporting the next generation of practitioners and leaders. Together, we hope to begin shaping a Young Adult Advisory Circle that can help guide this work forward with creativity, care, and collaboration.
Teachers leading this evening are Leslie Booker, Guiding Teacher; Brian Simmons, NYI Teacher Collective; and Kathy Rollo Ferrara, NYI Community Steward.
Refreshments will be served and there will be plenty of opportunities to connect with each other.
Registration is encouraged so we can prepare the evening thoughtfully.
