Yom Kippur is the Jewish Day of Atonement, a day when, as a community, Jews are asked to reflect on their actions of the past year and to ask for atonement for any actions that were unskillful. In support of this day, NYI hosts an In-Person and Online day of silence and reflection.

Training in mindful awareness brings the choice of relating to our experience with wisdom and compassion which changes the brain creating new neural pathways.Join us to learn how to move beyond surviving life’s challenges to actively participating in our own deep healing while building resilience for a brighter present and future.

This four- week course will be about upending our fixed ideas about aging. Together we will share our cultural beliefs toward aging and challenge them with the tools of meditation and the Buddha’s teachings.
