In-Person: A Community Gathering and Picnic in Central Park
Join us at Central Park as we continue the 25th Anniversary Celebration of NYIMC. We will meditate, have a dharma discussion and share a meal.

Location: East 72nd Street, Pilgrim Hill, Central Park East
You are invited to join us for another Community Gathering Event to bring together our sangha and friends and continue the celebration of our 25th anniversary.
This gathering is about celebrating our community, being together in-person, and is one of a number of community events to gather and celebrate our 25 year as a New York City based Dharma center.
Join New York Insight’s Friends Leadership Council and New York Insight monthly picnic/potluck teacher Lani Miller in Central Park for an evening meditating together, engaging in community connecting activities and just spending time in this beautiful location at Central Park.
Bring a blanket or chair and even a picnic meal if you wish.
Theologian Alexander Schmemann writes: “Centuries of secularism have failed to transform eating into something strictly utilitarian. Food is still treated with reverence. A meal is still a rite – the last ‘natural sacrament’ of family and friendship”
Come bring a meal to enjoy, or small treat.. or something refreshing to drink.
This event is open to all whether you are a longtime community member or brand new to New York Insight. We are excited to see you all again in-person!

Participation Requirements:
• Vaccination is required! Please present proof of vaccination and booster shot to the teacher on-site.
• Mask Wearing at all times, except when eating.
• Social Distance at all times, at least 6’ of distance.
• You will be responsible to clean after yourself.
For the health and safety of our staff and community, please do not come onsite if you are feeling unwell.
