Already Home: The New Science & Ancient Wisdom of Awakening

with Dr. Rick Hanson

Saturday, May 9th, 2020 | 10:00am – 4:00pm

Join New York Times bestselling author Dr. Rick Hanson as we explore the Buddhist analysis of the mind as a road map for strengthening the neural circuitry of deep calm, contentment, kindness, and wisdom—qualities we all need to succeed in the face of adversity.

In this daylong retreat, Rick will draw from his latest book “Neurodharma: New Science, Ancient Wisdom, and Seven Practices of the Highest Happiness”. You will learn techniques for liberating the mind and heart, discovering freedom from suffering, and engaging life with a kind heart and inner peace. During the course of the day, you will practice simple yet powerful guided meditations that hold the potential for developing radically life-changing meditation techniques.

This workshop will be comprised of teachings, guided meditations, Q&A Sessions, and time for sitting and walking practice. You will get to explore the techniques for yourself and have the opportunity to ask Rick questions about your experience.

Practitioners of all levels are welcome. Bring your mind, your curiosity, and your questions.

Join Rick Hanson on Friday, May 8th, 2020 at New York Insight for an evening talk on his new book Neurodharma Click here for more info.
