In-Person: Awake in Urban Nature Meditation

with Maho Kawachi and Sam Moll

Saturday, May 18th 2024 | 9:30am to 12:00pm

Location: Central Park, Great Hill

Please join us on Central Park’s Great Hill (northwest corner) for meditation and mindful eating practice. In this workshop, we practice sitting meditation, standing meditation, and gentle movement together. During our mindful eating practice, we will explore the eating experience through the five senses. Through the experiences of this workshop, we will see that nature is part of us and we are part of nature.

This gathering will be conducted in Noble Silence. There will be time for sharing at the end. Beginners and seasoned practitioners all welcome.

Meet up time: 9:20am (exact location TBD one week before the event). Light rain or shine

NOTE: This will be a dana-based event. Your generosity will be shared by, The Interdependence Project, and New York Insight.

He completed the IDP Teacher Training in 2021 and continues to offer mindfulness in hospitals and K-12th grade schools.
