Online: Get Your Sit Together

with Bodhipaksa

Mondays, January 8th – 29th, 2024 | 7:00pm – 8:30pm ET

For a long time after I learned to meditate, I found it impossible to keep my practice regular. Even experiencing the very positive benefits of meditation first-hand wasn’t enough to motivate me to practice regularly. I’d meditate every day for a few weeks or even months, but then I’d start missing days — sometimes lots of days.

Eventually I managed to become the rock-solid daily meditator that I’d aspired to be, and when I shared my approach with other people they found it worked for them too.

And so, drawing on the latest psychological research on motivation and habit-building, along with timeless insights from Buddhist psychology, we’ll explore how we can commit to sit daily, no matter what, so that we can all experience the benefits of regular meditation.

This four-week course is designed to help you become a rock-solid daily meditator. However, this approach to motivation works for developing other habits as well, so whether you want to exercise regularly or eat more healthily, you’ll find something here that helps you.
