Postponed: Imperfect Perfections – A Six Week Course on the Ten Paramis

with Gary Singer

Wednesdays, September 15th – October 20th, 2021 | 10:00am – 12:00pm ET

Due to unforeseen circumstances, this program will be postponed to a later date. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The Buddha taught ten qualities of character to help toward both awakening and everyday life. Through cultivating these qualities, we can become more at ease, generous, and compassionate to ourselves and others, especially during times of uncertainty and anxiety.

These ten paramis are: generosity, ethics, renunciation, wisdom, energy, patience, truth, resolve, friendliness, equanimity.

In this 6 week survey course, we’ll cover two paramis each session with an emphasis on meditation and dialogue. Between classes there will be meditations and brief readings toward how to bring the paramis into our lives in practical ways. So bring your curiosity, creativity, and imperfections.

It’s intended that after this survey course, a more in-depth, longer course will be offered.
