Forcing and insisting that circumstances, plans, or people go the way we want them to go causes painful frustration and stress to ourselves and others. Worrying and demanding makes us anxious and fearful. This special workshop is designed to help all of us of release control, embrace uncertainty, and find deeper peace and fulfillment in the unfolding of life.

You’ll practice lovingkindness and mindfulness meditation to deepen your self-awareness, cultivate self-compassion, and nurture a kind and accepting attitude towards your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. With guided exercises and group discussions, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of your habitual responses, become less reactive, and foster confidence and trust in your clarity and good sense.

In this program you’ll learn to:
* Understand what you can and can’t control
* Recognize the vulnerable feelings behind your need to control
* Develop self-confidence and trust in the unknown and uncertain, so you don’t have to worry so much
* Bring patience and wisdom to your fears
* Notice habitual behaviors and rewire them to become less reactive
* Relax and rest with wisdom and understanding

By practicing the art of letting go, you’ll create space for self-acceptance, forgiveness, and emotional healing. Join us for this daylong online program, and explore ways to gently release self-judgment, past regrets, and unhelpful patterns that hinder your self-compassion and belief in yourself, so you can lighten up, enjoy, and appreciate your life. This program will have periods of discussion, Q&A, and guided meditation. No experience is necessary. Beginners and experienced meditators are welcome.
