This investigation of the felt sense of thoughts and emotions has the potential to relieve and release them without wandering into blame, criticism, identification, or complication.

For most of us, when we experience stress and distress, our first reaction is to cycle around the thoughts and feelings that we think are to blame. This often leads to rumination and even more distress.

A different approach is to mine the sensations of thoughts and emotions. By discovering the physical embodiment of thoughts and feelings, we can respond without getting caught up in a story or discursive thinking.

Included in this investigation of the felt sense will be a direct experience of thoughts and emotions expressed as sensations.

This uncomplicated way of addressing what is embodied has many benefits, including knowing the material form of consciousness and how body and mind relate and respond to each other on a moment-to-moment basis.
