As living beings we experience and carry our share of wounds. The Dharma is a path that offers an end to suffering and an opportunity for being with all that we experience in a way that can cause the deepest wounds to heal. In this day-long we will explore, with loving awareness, how being fully present to what is happening in our body, heart and mind can impact our quality of life and our well being.
An ongoing practice of mindfulness can illuminate and support us. We will explore acceptance and allowing, clinging and letting go, our intentions and expectations and the role they play in suffering and the healing process. We will also look at how to relate skillfully to the obstacles and challenges in life as an opening to mindfulness of our moment-to-moment experience. The day will include periods of meditation, discussion, practice and sharing.
Teacher support: Suggested starting donation is $30 but whatever you offer is greatly appreciated and no one is ever turned away for lack of funds. All donations go to support the teacher(s).
