Join harpist Pamela Bruce and New York Insight teacher Lani Miller for an evening of music, meditation and dharma.

As an important part of Buddhist Practice we learn the great support that can be found in taking refuge in what is called the three jewels: The Buddha, The Dharma, and The Sangha.”

In these challenging times, remembering that finding and taking refuge is really possible and can offer us comfort, support, and strength in our lives. Together we will explore both the theme and experience of taking refuge. The evening will conclude with special performance the harp playing of Pamela Bruce.

Lani Miller

Lani MillerLani Miller has been practicing Insight Meditation since 1976. She is a graduate of the third Community Dharma Leaders Program. Lani is also a graduate of the MMTCP – “Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program” and “The Mindful Mentor Training Program.”
As a teacher, Lani values the opportunity to be a “channel” for supporting individuals and groups to find and explore spiritual truth through their own present moment experience. As part of this, she feels honored to introduce beginning meditators to meditation.
Lani is also a Singer/ Songwriter who is interested in how music and other creative arts can be a vehicle for sharing spiritual truths and values.

Pamela Bruce

Pamela Bruce is a teacher, performer, and creative artist based out of Nyack, NY. She began experimenting with the piano in her parent’s basement as a young child and began formal lessons that prepared her for her undergraduate studies where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Her passions are wide ranging to include jazz, improvisation, composition, harp playing, guitar, and exploring new favorite composers like Eric Satie and Phillip Glass. She teaches piano, harp, and beginner’s guitar out of her studio in Nyack, NY and is also a traveling teacher to nearby towns such as Nanuet, Valley Cottage, Monsey, and Airmont.
