Many people feel that letting go means giving up, resigning, or detaching. But authentic letting go —knowing what you can and can’t control—is wise, compassionate, and sensible. Letting go of what you can’t control alleviates stress, struggle, and tension, and enables you to meet all circumstances with clarity and good sense.

Using equanimity and lovingkindness to guide us, we’ll explore how to cultivate a sense of acceptance and faith in ourselves and our ability to see clearly. We’ll notice how our resistance to uncertainty, people, or new ideas can cause harm and hinder our ability to recognize the possibilities that can emerge when we trust in the unfolding of life.

Join author and teacher Kimberly Brown for this special evening of discussion, Q&A, and guided meditation. No experience is necessary. Beginners and experienced meditators are welcome.

Participants can continue their practice and exploration of this topic during Kimberly’s daylong program on November 18th: Love, Embrace, Release – Letting Go of Trying to Control it All.
