Online: Belonging and Change

with Sebene Selassie and Sharon Salzberg

Wednesday, August 19th, 2020 | 7:00pm – 9:00pm ET

We are not separate from each other. But we don’t always believe it, and we don’t always practice it. In fact, we often practice the opposite—disconnection and domination. From unconscious bias to “cancel culture,” denial of our inherent interconnection limits our own freedom.

Meditation is a powerful way to break through boundaries, reconnect to a movement that’s bigger than ourselves, and have the energy to stay active.

Join Sebene Selassie and Sharon Salzberg as they come together during these polarized and energized times for an online discussion on the themes of each of their forthcoming books, “You Belong” and “Real Change”. We will sit together, have group discussion and a Q&A with the teachers.

Preorder “You Belong” by Sebene Selassie here.
Preoder “Real Change” by Sharon Salzberg here. (It is set to audio, but clicking on the down arrow will display other options)

With gratitude to all current and new members who have supported our 2020 Membership Campaign and transition through this challenging period, we are offering this evening free for NYI members and $25 for non-members.
