This evening will be a unique opportunity for New York Insight Members to get teachings from Sharon’s newest book, Real Change: Mindfulness to Heal Ourselves and the World, to be published September 2020.

It is being described as “a guidebook for how to use mindfulness to build our inner strength, find balance, and help create a better world. In Real Change, Sharon Salzberg shares sage advice and indispensable techniques to help free ourselves from overwhelm and anxiety. She teaches us that meditation is not a replacement for action, but rather a way to practice generosity with ourselves and summon the courage to break through boundaries, reconnect to efforts that are bigger than ourselves, and have the energy to stay active.”

Sharon shares the wisdom of veteran activists, creative artists and social change agents in a variety of fields and offers practical advice to foster transformation in both ourselves and in society. The evening will consist of a talk, guided meditation, and Q&A. Suitable for both beginners and more experienced meditators.
